雪梨: 中國MG轎車復活節雪梨面市
復活節期間將於澳洲面市的中國擁有品牌MG汽車。英國老牌汽車「換顏」登陸澳洲 1 February 2013 / 09:30 a.m.
(本報雪梨訊) 中國上海汽車集團擁有和製造的英國老牌「MG」（Morris Garages）汽車，今年復活節前後將重新登陸澳洲，雪梨經銷商網絡已蔚然成形。
這個尊貴的英國汽車品牌，如今由上海汽車工業（集團）總公司（以下簡稱上汽集團）擁有並製造，在中國市場命名為「名爵」。上汽集團向《雪梨晨鋒報》獨家透露，MG將在2013年復活節前後在澳洲發起啟動儀式。
上汽集團的本地分銷商Longwell汽車公司，當被問及MG何時將會銷售時不予置評，並證實該品牌在雪梨的經銷商尚未營業，位於巴拉瑪打路現有的汽車銷售商Rick Damelian展覽室。
然而，上汽集團右舵車市場部主管習曉明（Xiaomin Xi，譯音）確認，這個品牌將在復活節周末啟動面市。他稱，分銷商和集團總部正通過MG汽車俱樂部，與現有的車主和發燒友緊密互動，發起儀式選擇在3月份的最後一個周末，將在昆省Toowoomba俱樂部後面舉行的全國會議上進行。
習表示，上汽集團正努力在布里斯本和紐卡素增設經銷商，並證實最初將只提供MG6轎車和掀背車。兩款車是渦輪增壓的1.8升發動機，最大功率118千瓦，最大扭矩215牛米，標準型是手動五檔變速。
根據MG英國網站，MG6能夠在8.4秒內從0加速到每小時100公里，車身大小與萬事達3相仿，車長僅超過4.6米，車寬1.8米，具有一流競爭力的尾箱容量498升。
MG6的市場售價看似不具優勢，最近在紐西蘭的報價為29,990紐元（24,055澳元），比豐田Corolla貴4500紐元，比VW Golf貴9000紐元。豐田Corolla在澳洲本地的售價為19,990元，外加上路費用。
習證實，MG品牌系列2013年末期將在澳洲推出更小的MG3，具有別具吸引力的外觀，相當於加大版的福特Fiesta。（峻鳴）

这价钱怎么卖？？不过corolla比Golf便宜才对啊，这个报道弄错了 比corolla 贵上四千大洋，将来销售不容乐观。QUOTE:

翻过来的意思是，这是一部很枯燥乏味的车，了无新意，发动机即使加了TURBO，感觉表现也是一般般。

Nanjing Automobile formally established NAC MG UK Limited as a holding company for the plant and marque on 12 April 2006. In March 2007, Nanjing Automobile unveiled the first MG vehicles manufactured in China, the MG TF, MG 7295 and MG 7275.
Assembly of cars re-started at Longbridge in August 2007, with production of the MG TF LE500.
In 2007, Nanjing Automobile was acquired by Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC),and in early 2009 NAC MG UK Limited was renamed MG Motor UK Limited.
The first all-new model from MG for 16 years, the MG6, was officially launched on 26 June 2011 during a visit to MG Motor's Longbridge plant by Chinese premier Wen Jiabao.
