Thank you for your email. Your reference number is SS-2010-0336*. We apologise for the confusion.
As stated on our website, due to technical issues, the 'Tracking' function has been removed. Registered users who have applied online for visa sponsorship will be contacted via email about the status of their application(s) when necessary.
Please note that the current processing time for Victorian sponsorship is approximately twelve weeks upon receipt of a complete application. If we require further documentation from you, we will contact you when we require it.

For the update on the first page, I received the additional declaration email. However, this may not be significant. My theory is they had the additional declaration email as the standard (can be confirmed by people who received this email earlier around a week back). When a lot of people asked whether they needed to send a hard copy and whether this declaration was new they changed the wording to "The assessment process requires you to complete a sponsorship declaration..." and added the part about not needing a hard copy. This email (second version) suggests that they do not have our initial declaration (thus confirming my initial theory about glitches in their system). The second version probably started 2-3 days ago.
Thank you for your application for Victorian Government nomination under the 176 - Sponsored visa scheme.
The assessment process requires you to complete a sponsorship declaration and return the signed document to the Skilled and Business Migration Program. This declaration confirms that all parties understand the conditions and limitations of Victorian Government sponsorship and you should ensure that you read and understand this document prior to signature and submission.
We understand that you may have attached this document to your application however due to a technical error this has not been received by the Skilled and Business Migration Program.
We do not require a hard copy of the document.
If we do not receive the declaration from you within two weeks, the application will be deemed invalid and your file closed.
We look forward to receiving the declaration.
