据国外论坛的消息说，WA的SMP可能这周五出，让我们看看会发生什么吧。

Hello everybody
I have just read in an other forum, from someone, whos been to the Visa Expo in Sydney Town Hall.
He said he has spoken to an ambassador from WA. This person told him that the WA SMPs will be released on friday, 10.12.2010!
So there is another date! Hopefully this is true! Finger crossed for all of you!!!

Hi All,

I have just been on the phone to WA and the guy on the phone confirmed that the above is correct. In his words he said " We have been told to expect an announcement on Friday 10th december about the release of the SMP... "

He told me that he cant wait for it to be released. He said that all relevant information will be available on Friday with reagrds to all queries about the SMP.

Hope this puts a smile on a few faces today,

是啊，下周一、今天周五、几号以前，这些字眼就像酒精一样把我麻醉了，前些日子一听到看到SMP这三个字母就特别亢奋、焦虑，结果痔疮也范了，智牙也鼓了，惨烈啊。现在淡定的很，随他去吧。

再来一个不知是否可靠的消息，请各位自行甄别。

据说WA的配额不是最多的，只是第三多的，这个跟我想象的确实有所差别了。不知道是不是移民局不再答应给配额的缘故，所以WA干脆不等了，先出了再说。。。

The guy I spoke to said that he couldnt wait to get started with the new SS and he also said that WA are the 3rd largest state for quotas for the SMP. I take it that there are higher allocations going to 2 other states? I was surprised as I thought WA would be top for the amount of SS holders, but you learn something new every day.

我的职业人数好像比较少，petroleum engineer，不知道会不会被砍
如果砍了，我就有时间结婚了，把我媳妇也加到申请里头去，算是对被砍的一种补偿

Advice I have received today is that it will be late next week, at which time the list of occupations and the criteria associated with it will be released and then the online application system will be reactivated some time soon after that. I would suggest you continue to monitor the website for the update.

Summary
List will be released between 10 to 15th Dec,
Online application system activated before 25th Dec
all the states will have finalised their SMP by Christmas.

还有一个消息说，会计会在WA的SMP上的，但是For Accountant, Seven years of working exp required other than IELTS 4×7

如果对会计这样要求，那么新申请人基本上就直接175了

，谁还上赶着去wa

。不过在之前记得有一期的wa列表上对会计要求是5年，难保wa继续变态

，另外，万一对老ss会计也这样要求那我们就彻底杯具了

。
