I don't know how to use Photoshop.
Instead, I used ACDSee to crop away some of the unnecessary bits.
In my D700 camera, I used the "vivid" instead of the "standard" or "normal" selection for images. By so doing, it tends to bring out the "autumn" colours of vegetation.
