Getting to The Con

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is located in Macquarie St, opposite the junction with Bridge Street. It is next to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the gates to Government House. It is easily accessible by public transport. There is no public parking on the site, however there is a short stay drop off point for disabled patrons and deliveries.

Parking/Transport

By rail	Martin Place or Circular Quay are the closest stations
By bus	Any bus that travels to Circular Quay or along George, Pitt or Macquarie streets will get you close to The Con.
By ferry	The Con is a 10 minute walk from Circular Quay

The Con's Songlines installation is an integral part of the Light Walk route, which will lead participants from Observatory Hill, through The Rocks and Circular Quay, up to The Con and then onto Sydney Opera House nightlyuntil 14 June.
A series of free after dark concerts at The Con will provide amusical additionfor people walking Smart Light Sydney Festival's Light Walk.
Performances will range from mini recitals to major works.
Most recitals will be held in The Con Music Cafe, adjacent to Songlines,
from 6.00pm. (please see below for the full schedule)

THURSDAY 11 JUNE - Vocal recital; Bridget Patterson soprano, Mitch Riley baritone
FRIDAY 12 JUNE - Vocal & Piano recital; Ali Manifold & Anna Dowsley soprano, Christopher Nazarian piano

Apollo Trio is made up of violinist Maria Lindsay, cellist Elizabeth Neville and pianist Daniel Herscovitch. Their program today includes Liszt's Symphonic Poem
Orpheus in an arrangement by Saint-Saëns, Alkan's Piano Trio in G minor and contemporary works by Michael Torke and Australian jazz musician, Mike Nock.

When:Sunday14 June 3.00pm
Where: Verbrugghen Hall
Tickets: Free Entry, bookings not required. Tickets are allocated from 1.30pm only on the day, limited to 1 per person.

不错。谢谢分享。我有一次在NSW美术馆，也碰巧遇到有免费的四重奏

另外ABC Classic FM每个星期天下午都有免费音乐会，地点是全国各地，但是我感觉90%都在悉尼或周边

这个推荐，艺术家和观众在一家旧仓库里，用音乐和光影制造如梦如幻的氛围。半小时一场，很好。

Circular Quay的Campbells Cove，有大型水上战争表演，很精彩，不过人山人海，要早点去占位子

明天最后一晚，要去的赶紧了。

另，音乐学院明天下午有免费演出

SUNDAY LIVE-PIANO & PERCUSSION
Bernadette Balkus piano and Claire Edwardes percussion team up to perform two pieces by George Hamilton Green, a movement of Séjourné's Vibraphone Concerto and other contemporary works for piano and percussion.
In addition there are two solos — Bernadette performs Liebermann's Nocturne and China Gates by John Adams, while Claire is heard in Australian composer Stuart Greenbaum's Clockwork Lemon.
