临时图书馆教师助理职位

Temporary Library Teacher Aide Position


Applications are invited for a temporary Library Teacher Aide position at Yeronga State High School with an emphasis on IT skills commencing as soon as possible until 11 December 2009.

This position will be supporting staff and students in the schools automated library system and AV equipment.

The position is for 25 hours p/w worked over 5 days.   

Applicants should have the following qualities:
        Good computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite would be an advantage
        Good communication skills
        Able to work as part of a team and independently
        Sound literacy and numeracy skills
        Knowledge of Library automated systems and operation of Audio Visual Equipment would be an advantage

Temporary Bilingual Teacher Aide Position

Applications are invited for a temporary Bilingual Teacher Aide position at Yeronga State High School for 10 hours per week worked over 2 days commencing as soon as possible until 26 June 2009 with a possible extension.

This person will be working with student to improve their English whilst supporting their first language.

Applicants should have the following qualities:
        Language background in one or all of the following: Swahili, Dinka, Dari, Kono, Arabic, Amharic, Tigrinya.
        Good communication skills
        Able to work as part of a team and independently
        Sound literacy and numeracy skills
        Ability to interpret

临时手工艺教师助理职位
Temporary Manual Arts Teacher Aide Position

Applications are invited for a temporary Manual Arts Teacher Aide position at Yeronga State High School for 10 hours per week worked over 2 days commencing as soon as possible until 26 June 2009 with a possible extension.

This person will be working with student to improve their English whilst supporting their first language.

Applicants should have the following qualities:
        Be familiar with manual arts equipment ie circular saws, grinders, sharpening of chisels & plain blades etc
        Good communication skills
        Able to work as part of a team and independently
        Cut material as required

All applications must address the key selection criteria of the position description and be forward to the Registrar, Yeronga State High School, 159 Villa Street, Yeronga by no later than 3:00 pm Monday 9 February 2009.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check and a “Working With Children” check before employment can be confirmed.
