问个有关文件公证的问题，不知道能否有人给出权威的回答。

移民局对于中国的文件，是否只接受公证处出具的？现在国内公证费用绝不便宜，广州每份要130元。对于一些特为移民而做的公证，比如父母关系、婚姻等，只能在公证处做。但对于现成已有的文件，比如户口簿、出生证明、身份证、护照等，不知道是不是能让澳洲三级翻译员译成英文，并在中文复印件上盖章证明与原件相符就可以了呢？这样的话可以不用白白被国内公证处赚一大笔，时间也快。请了解情况的人赐教！希望有可靠的答案，因为不想把文件白寄去了又说不行，还得回公证处公证。

thanks micfox, but the thing is, JP is not gonna translate the documents for you, you still need to pay for the translation. What i want to do is to get them translated and certified by a NAATI translator, coz i got such resource for which i don't need to pay. I am just wondering if DIMMA accepts. Am i putting it in a clear way? Hope i am not confusing everyone.

but JP doesn't understand Chinese, how can he certify my chinese documents. Well i can look for a Chinese JP, it's again another issue...

我的所有文件都是公证过的，而且公证的份数到现在还有躺在家里，偶认为，只要方便，快，钱就暂时不在考虑之列，移民可是一项大工程，呵呵！
