Software Engineer
Rosebery (moving to North Ryde in the New Year)
As a senior team member you will build upon your existing, specialised knowledge of C, C++, object oriented programming, real time embedded systems and Unix/Linux operating systems. It's a chance to push the envelope developing complex gaming software for a world leading, Australian-owned entertainment gaming company.
Spearheading potential procedural enhancements and performing challenging peer code reviews, you will set an exemplary standard and inspire your own team of fledgling graduates and junior engineers. You will be responsible for prototyping software of medium to high complexity, ensuring we deliver a world-class product.
Your skills will be supported by solid commercial experience and relevant tertiary qualifications in computing or software engineering. Exposure to gaming and a diverse range of development environments will be a bonus. Success in this role may lead towards broadening careers in platform or tools development.
In addition to relishing a challenge, to succeed in this role, you'll need:
* At least three years' experience as a software developer
* A strong grasp of C
* An understanding of real time embedded systems
* Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems
* Knowledge of C++ or object oriented programming (preferred)
* Strong Analytical and Mathematical Skills
