标题: 【珀斯】初学者免费英语学习班 -- 附学习笔记

大家新年好,本年度第一节课：2013年7月25日礼拜四。晚上7：30pm准时开课

大家好，
我们教会最近开办了针对初学的免费英语对话课程。我们的活动和课程是纯公益性质的。

时间：
      •       每个礼拜5下午1-2点都有（节假日除外），现在学生人数已经不少。
      •       我们现在还新开了礼拜4晚上7点半-9点的，希望有兴趣的朋友可以来受益。
学生：
      •       来参加的人主要是学生，新移民和来自台湾和日本等地的背包客等。

老师：
      •       除了我以外，老师们都是来自各个国家英语为母语的人。包括澳洲本地人，美国人和本地出生的华人。

学习英文，圣经是一本非常好的教材，前不久无事对圣经做了些统计，原文基于圣经的新世界译本，之所以选择这个版本是因为它同时提供了中英文的语音的MP3下载。
经过统计，整部圣经大约90.2万个单词，31102个小节（Verse）。非重复单词量（包括人名，地名，时态，单复数）在12000左右。
使用排名前50名的单词如下：

这50个单词占到了整部圣经的50%！！，通过检索新浪在线字典http://dictionary.sina.com.tw/ ，查出其中8388多个（余下的为时态变化，或是专用人名，地名等新浪在线字典直接查询无结果）。

在线可以访问http://www.imobilebbs.com/download/Dictionary.html
或者下载字典，背完这8000多单词，读圣经就没有生词了，看其它英文书籍基本上也没有问题：-）

复制原作品的量，不能找过10%？
复制的目的，不能是商业目的，为自己学习或者研究是可以的

有些老师会少量复制出版的书籍，有些老师会从网络或报纸上自己找资料编辑

我的所谓‘学习笔记’确切的涵义是，自己学习过程中整理的

其实你也可以单独开帖的

没错,教会地处北桥,周五晚上会比较复杂,所以我们才选择周四开课.旁边虽然是个酒吧,但是另一旁也是警察局啊

星期5下午的课主要是偏重练习口语和交朋友.并没有比较系统的教材.
星期4晚上的课有比较系统的教材,教的东西不多,但是力求让学生把所教的东西都学会,并且能在日常生活中使用,成为学生自己的知识

你的雅思水平比较高了,可能课程对于你来说比较简单

Cynthia has been the most hardworking student so far.
In one of the Thursday evenings, some of our teachers went to the class without having dinner. Cynthia took pity on us and brought us tasty food. She was so kind that she never asked for any reimbursement.
