Fonality is a well-funded Communications Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. We provide VoIP phone system services which outperform brand-name, enterprise-level solutions for a fraction of the price. We are seeking Software Engineers with experience in creating backend services for web applications. Our primary product consists of a high-level, intuitive, web-based interface to the open-source PBX software Asterisk. We've also built various other desktop applications and APIs that interface with our system and Asterisk. You’ll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining new and existing systems written in various languages within a Linux environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Candidates would have at least one of the following skills and experience:
3+ years of programming in at least one of C/C++, Java, Go(lang), Lua
5+ years of networking experience.
5+ years of Linux experience
2+ years MySQL, Redis, CouchBase experience
VoIP/SIP/Asterisk experience a plus
