Usually, if you use combined wireless protocol 802.11 b/g, the default multicast rate is 2mbit/s which isn’t fast enough to send enough signals to your laptop. If you use only 802.11 g, and set the multicast rate >6Mbit/s
you can watch IPTV on your wireless. So it really depends on your wireless setting on your router.
BTW, most of wireless router default setting are 802.11 b/g. A lot of folks don't understand these protocols at all, some old wireless client card only supports 802.11 b as well
so if TPG declared that IPTV could be viewed on wireless, they would get huge setup support calls from customers.
