Frangipanis – in winter, when the plant is dormant, cut off a large branch. Let the branch dry out for a few days (or even a few weeks), then simply stick the cut end into the ground. When spring arrives, it’s likely that you’ll have a new frangipani, for free. This is a great technique if you spy a neighbour pruning a large frangipani or there is a tree you especially admire for the colour of its flowers.
