请教AD的宽带上网

昨天听在AD的朋友说，在AD申请宽带没有那种包月任上的，都是有流量限制的，而且很慢，不知是不是真的？如果是，看起来好像AD的网络建设比国内还落后，呵呵，所以想请教已经在AD居住生活的朋友帮助解答一下，谢谢！

it's sure that the boardband internet in OZ is not as well developed as china. but if you are willing to pay for it, you still can get all the luxuries. For example you can still enjoy unlimited seatillite internet if you live far away from any civilization in a romote farm and the goverment will pay part of the bill for you, some of my coleagues do live that lifestyle.

For DSL coverage, in adelaide if you live in the metro, it's not too bad, ADSL2 may not be available for some who's not closed to the local exchange. But if you live in the hills like me, you may not have any DSL at all for the local exchange could be too far away. My area is only covered by mobile 3G and seatalitte. But the place most people live won't have this problem.

Thanks for briefing. Just used to be unlimited in China, suddenly heard about this, little unbelievable. Suppose to live in the area with ADSL in AD, so wondering whether the limited data transferring is enough to use QQ, MSN and email etc. to keep contact with friends or others?

should be more than enough, there're different plans, and different companies to select from

hehe, double thanks! cannot believe, too many choices, but too expensive either. In this case, might think whether or not need to bring laptop to oz.
