Peoplebank are currently looking for a application developer. Our client is based in the eastern suburbs and they are now looking for someone who can help them.

Tasks would include:

–                    Implement integration layer between a Front End system and interfacing systems
–                    Develop reports for the Front End and Commercial Finance systems
–                    Design, implement and test changes to internal software systems
–                    Provide support and assistance to users
–                    Liaise with Business Analyst and users to help define requirements
–                    Provide management with regular updates on work progress

Qualifications and Experience:

–                    Tertiary: BS/BA in IT-related discipline

–                    Equivalent: 2 year IT TAFE with minimum 2 years IT industry experience

–                    Proven experience in an application development role

–                    In depth understanding of web programming and related technologies including ASP/ASP.net, Web Services, and XML.

–                    3+ years commercial experience in Delphi

–                    Detailed knowledge of SQL using MS SQL Server 2000/2005

–                    Some exposure to C#, NUnit, DUnit and SSRS

–                    Strong understanding of multi-tier technologies

–                    Strong understanding of OOP, including design patterns and best practices

–                    Liaising with users to better define requirements
