Got job offer from a mid size Australia engineering consulting company as technical manager or lead engineer,how do
you think this compare to a senior engineer within a big engineering firm?

I know my weakness is business development which is required for technical manager position up to 25%. But that
is what I want try and making progress.

How about training people and management? Is it good and friendly environment within engineering community in Australia?

Sth about me, worked for big Chinese Design institute, small and mid size engineering consulting firms and big American
EPCs in North America.

这边的技术部经理要求经验比较足, 而且跟采购部, 品质部和市场部打交道很多. 斗争在所难免, 沟通和表达能力要求较高, 否则被动挨打.
太弱不行, 太强就完蛋. 所以还是得中庸之道.
