小弟学的是石油勘探，最近有心思到澳洲发展，不知道这个行业好不好就业？有没有前途？

希望大家多多指教

You work for 2-4 weeks and stay at home for 2-4 weeks.

Western Australia is the best place for you job as long as you are realy good.

I am living at Perth and I choice Perth because I know WA is the Offshore Oil and Gas Center in the world as well Mining center.

Many Aussies migrated between states to WA for looking for higher pay jobs from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane......

Freeoz friend need change the idea of migrate to Melbourne and Sydney now.

My former company offer me a 80k job at Sydney last October and I don't take that job as that is too low compare to Perth.

I am very sorry that I realy don't know. I believe the Universities in China are very good including my university.

I think the experience and English are much more important than degrees

Maybe you can check UWA (University of Western Australia)

If you try offshore company and which might be much better and higher pay for you.

That is FIFO also and mostly 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off.

Mostly working for 12 hours/day at offshore.

The meal and accommodation is very good and I like some mess boy will clean the room and no need do laundry by yourself.

4 meals (23-1, 5-6, 11-13, 17-18) and 4 tea (3-3:30, 9-9:30, 15-15:30 and 18-18:30) per day plus vegetable, fruits and snacks as much as you can take

采矿，石油勘探专业在澳洲确实很火，大学刚毕业的就能拿7-8万，就业率基本100%

读本科实在吃不消，要3年，已经一把年纪了
如果有其他理工科方面基础，能不能读个授课类的石油硕士啊？这样子能找到石油方面的工作吗？

我原来是报的科廷的采矿硕士，我早就知道西澳那边的能源和工程待遇很好~绝对是捞钱的专业；但不好听的说一句，有付出才有收货，搞工资和待遇绝对不是白拿的，一来这类工作所谓FIFO就是不安定，而且工作期间都是相当忙碌和劳累的，所以才会有这么好的休息时间，但也导致离婚率居高（采矿的第一...）。二来，就业面和就业地也没多大选择，基本定死在这边，而且澳洲税收很高，过10W后多给个几万cut一半你也没多拿多少；至于这类专业在学习期间也是相当艰苦，绝对不是混过去的，光专业名词就够你受的，如果本科没有相关背景几乎是要命~
说到底，看你自己怎么抉择了，我觉得生活还是要安逸些的，稍微少拿点钱（其实做什么到了senior都应该不差钱，不过能源工程起薪和就业比较高罢了，竞争少对口的也少）换个安稳的家比较实在（个人观点），何况澳洲那么适合居住。兄弟，如果你认定了这个专业又不怕辛苦，奔着cash来的话就勇往直前吧！付出自然有回报，值不值就看你的了。
