Telstra cuts contractors, saves $140M

Telstra has slashed the number of contractors it will use to build and maintain its infrastructure network, in a move set to deliver cost savings of at least $140million over two years.  The telecommunications giant yesterday finalised a consolidation of contractors working under the Telstra Service division, reducing the total number from more than 100 to just 3.

I don't like Telstra very much, I got Telstra home phone and TPG board band.
For some reasons, the phone doesn't have the dial tone but I still can connect to the boardband, then I rang the telstra service number , that guy told me since the telphone is my husband's name, so they will do something only when my husband call the service number.

but in the end, he asked me, why don't you use telstra boardband instead of TPG.
what a bad service!
