2007年7月1日前获签但未登陆的[最终,确定性]入籍政策,,,我在标题里加了个括号,[最终,确定性]想以我的性命和人格来保证以下陈述属实,并以此来宽慰那些曾经和我一样被此问题困扰却找不到确定性答案的朋友.
今天收到澳大利亚上海领事馆Ingrid Hu的Email,全文如下:
Dear Mr. XXX,
Thanks for your email.
Please be kindly advised that people become permanent residents of
Australia on the date they enter Australia's migration zone and not on
the date the visa was issued overseas.
If you enter Australia on or after the date the new Australian
Citizenship
Act 2007 comes into effect, expected on 1 July 2007, you must meet the
residence requirements of the new Act, that is, four years lawful
residence
in Australia, including the last 12 months as a permanent resident.
If you enter Australia before the date of commencement, you will be
required to meet the current residence requirement of a total of two
years
in the previous five years, including a total of at least 12 months in
the
two years before application, provided he applies for citizenship
within
three years from the date the legislation commences.
