in most cases you will need a recognised teaching qualification from an english speaking country. i am a school teacher here and in my school those without teaching credentials can only work as TAs. of course TAs' wage differs a lot from teachers and they are not paid over holidays. As such my advice is that if you really want to practise school-based teaching, then go for a formal teaching course. it's hard but really worth it.

Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership is the professional body for assessing teaching qualifications gained overseas.
In most cases, a sole education degree from a Chinese uni would not be able to receive positive assessment for immigation purposes. For professional purposes, you need to refer to your local teacher registration board.
