Our client is a market leader in a rapidly expanding field. Due to increasing demands around data management they require a Data Architect with Big Data experience do investigate open source products and ultimately implement a suitable solution.
The ideal candidate will have production experience with Hadoop or other open source solutions as well as a solid background in Data Architecture and management.
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in computer or data science
4+ years of professional experience relating to data architecture, 2+ years working with Hadoop or other Big Data technologies
Demonstrable analytical and complex problem solving skills, particularly as it relates to data modelling, enterprise data architecture and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical, collaborative, and organizational abilities
Must be able to articulate advanced technical topics with clarity when communicating with all staff from team members through to Directors/stakeholders
