GUMTREE上出租房间小心受骗

在GUMTREE上打了广告出租一单人间，一个27岁新加坡女写了下面第一封信来

Hi,
I am interested in your available room, let me introduce myself. I am 27 year young non smoker lady coming to Australia from Singapore . I work as chef on cruise ship at the moment and i have limited time to surf the internet and also phone calls is also strictly limited due to nature of my work. I will like you to kindly make the arrangement for the total cost covering my first three months rent together with deposit. I will also like you to get back to me with your full home address for me to forward it to my mover to calculate the total cost of moving my stuffs to Australia. I will be waiting to read back from you.

Hi,
Many thanks for getting back to me again. I am very social person that respect humanity and this make it so easy for me to get along with whoever that comes my way in life. I am arriving on 16th of Feb and stay more than a year in Australia working. I will be transferring the rent to you through paypal and if you do not have one, kindly set up an account with them in less than 5 minutes on www.paypal.com. I would have requested for your bank details but for the safety of you and I with giving bank details online, i prefer going through PayPal. I will be so happy to secure the room as soon as you get back to me with the paypal name and email. I had attached pics of myself for you to know me. I will like to pay in advance through PayPal and my reason is that, i will be presenting the proof of my rent payment to my employer and also to the immigration at the port of entry into Australia.

当我提供了我的PayPal账号后，她又写来第三封信

Hi,
I need a kind favor from you and i will be happy if you can sort it out for me. I was just about to pay when i received an email from my shipping company, my shipping agent says i will need to pay for the moving before they can ship my items, they charge me $820.00 for pick up and delivery and payment for pick up will be made to the corporate international headquarters in Italy. The payment will be made via western union money transfer. I will add $820.00 to my rent deposit making $3,640.00 in total which you will kindly help me to send the excess $820 to their corporate headquarters in Italy, i will send the funds through PayPal and email you to let you know when i am done with the transfer. The money transfer to the shipping agent can be done by visiting any post office cos there is always western union agent there, i have also included $100.00 for the western union money transfer charges. I would have done it myself but i can't for some circumstances regarding my work schedule, i will appreciate your kindness regarding this. You will get a payment notification from PayPal immediately i transfer the funds.

我这才意识到可能上当了，拒绝帮忙转账。我已经提供了自己的住址，联系电话，PayPal账号，就差帮忙转账然后她弄到我银行账户有这么一笔近期转账记录了。太可怕了，现在骗人的技巧是越来越高了？还是我太后知后觉了？

一般來說。。 GUMTREE租房來問的如果是國外的，50%是騙子，如果要用PAYPAL，概率上升至99%。。

LZ一下就看出是骗局.只接受现金安全些.有个当地的朋友就上过这样的当.不过他是在EBAY上卖东西.

不是很理解，是说这个骗子要楼主帮她转820到海运公司？然后她用paypal的方式连同房租一起打给楼主？paypal的支付方式是不是汇款人可以撤销的？

他们用偷来的信用卡资料或者PAYPAL帐号付钱给你.然后让你把多出来的钱汇给他们.当PAYPAL或者信用卡发现是非法使用.就会从你的帐户上扣回付给你的钱.而他们早已经拿了你汇出的钱无影无踪了.最后你不但拿不到他们的钱.你自己的钱也损失了.
