[维州] 关于Home Insurance的Fire Service Levy

收到了Westpace的Home and Contents Insurance的renewal invitation，除了与一年前差不多的insurance premium之外，又多了fire service levy（$241.57）和government stamp duty（$100.39）
问了WP说fire levy是“government enforce tax on the bush fire, everyone needs to pay through building and content insurance.”，但没说那个stamp duty是咋回事
有知道的同学么？

我家的保险也是涨了好多。 是AAMI的，算了一下，超过20％。
后打电话问，说是政府的stamp duty增加，还有一个flood 什么的，但是没有说fire。
后来讲了半天，对方同意给一个discount, 不是很多，但是也有几十刀。
所以建议楼主给保险公司打电话complain,应该能要点儿折扣的。
