As today marks my last official day as Group Executive IBB, I want to say a massive “thank you” to you  - for the incredible support you have given me over my nine years in this role. It has been a genuine privilege to lead this rich and diverse business and to share such a remarkable journey with you. Your unswerving commitment to the business and our customers has been inspirational and has made my time here an absolute pleasure.
I also want to thank you for the hundreds of notes, phone calls and letters I have received over the past week since I announced my new role as Chief Executive. It is quite humbling and very much appreciated at this time, which is of course “bittersweet”.
Sadly, there are some people who are leaving us today, or moving to new Divisions. I send you my warmest wishes and my sincere hope that your dreams and future aspirations are realised. You have played a significant role in growing IBB and ensuring it became a major contributor to the St.George Group. You have every right to be tremendously proud of your achievements.
