Hi,

It is intended that the new SOL would apply to all new GSM applications made from the date of implementation, except where transitional arrangements are likely to be provided for. Subject to the approval of the Governor-General in Council of amendments to the Migration Regulations 1994, it is intended that a new SOL would come into effect from 1 July 2010, along with the transitional provisions.

Subject to the approval of the Governor-General in Council of the proposed legislative amendments, it is intended that a number of transitional arrangements would be introduced to minimise the impact of this change on international students.

Up to and including 30 June 2010, assessment outcome letters will be issued in ASCO codes only
From and including 1 July 2010, assessment outcome letters will be issued in ANZSCO codes only

Applicants who hold, or are about to hold, an assessment outcome letter with an ASCO code issued by the ACS prior to 1 July 2010, will be advised on the assessment outcome review process in due course.

review不是自动的
onshore毕业生的review process是免费申请的，政府会补偿评估机构
offshore估计也一样

个人认为，这个速度不会很快的

刚才发了一个email给helen.martynyuk抗议，浪费时间，可能还需要重新准备资料。建议还是提供transitional arrangement。另外建议如果review不可避免，应该免费

不过不敢用原来ACS评估时候留的email地址发

看起来说的如果是7月份以后给的RL上面应该是新的code了
所以有希望7月份以后拿到RL的只能希望能评到SOL上面的code了..

不可能收钱，或者至少不可能收400块。
你不了解澳洲。400块是澳洲普通百姓眼里不小一笔钱，这样折腾，给你一个压根你就没有机会去用的信，社会上普遍会认为这是诚信问题，这在澳洲不太会发生。

一个移民签证收2000多，澳洲政府不差这几个小钱，从你交的申请费中划100块给acs，让acs意思意思给你发个随便什么号，根本无所谓的，来年申请费涨价不就可以了吗？。

现在问题不少，比方说，他们提到的concerns（其实是好几个申请人自己发Email去问才让他们意识到有这种情况的）之一是已经递了申请的三无，都想[免费]重评(or mapping, whatever)，看看能不能挤进新SOL，或许新SOL会被优先处理（哪怕要重交签证费）。但不管是DIAC还是ACS都不希望看到这个情况，因为这会带来不必要的工作量（如果评估结果不在新SOL上，重新申请的机会就很渺茫了）…

今天再给DIAC发email，凭什么transitional arrangements只适用于internet students?

因为：

1. international students英语更好一些，不把自己写成internet students。
2. international students更融入澳洲社会一些，澳洲学历确保他们更容易找到工作。
3. international students中不少是澳洲纳税人支付了全额奖学金、生活费的全奖学生。
4. international students中不持奖学金的，也至少为澳洲经济贡献了几十万人民币的学费。
5. international students中很多有TFN，数年来是澳洲纳税人。
6. international students所学计算机专业是经过acs认证的，从一定意义上说，他们是acs的“产品”。

onshore和offshore肯定是不一样的
想我这样一月份提交的acs，到现在都不给结果，我能干什么？
要是onshore的话，我直接就去砸了他们了
现在只能在想可不可以走EA了

看来没有直接mapping
有个重新评估的 process啊 估计不收费用了 不知道包邮吗 呵呵
这个Miss Rhiannon Burkett 还是很靠谱的 我是她这毕业的
