This park is named after Benjamin Boyd, a prominent 19th-century Far South Coast entrepreneur. Its rugged coastline is a colourful display of folded red rocks, standing out against the sapphire blue waters ofthe Pacific Ocean. The park has sandy surf beaches, ruggedbays, rock platforms, quiet campgrounds, sheltered inlets and historic lighthouses. Its heathlands and forests are home to a variety of plantsand animals, including threatened species such as the ground parrot, eastern bristlebird, hooded plover, yellow-bellied glider andlong-nosed potoroo.
There are too many activies available in Ben Boyd National Park, such as fishing, swimming, swimming, 4WD touring, snorkel, camping in addtional to short/long walking track (light to light).

It seems no one from freeoz interesting.
Please send e-mail petercai08@hotmail.com or sms 0402 817 164 to enquire more details of activies of small group for this long weekend.
Over one/two days, this classic walk explores the coast from Boyd Tower to the Green Cape Lighthouse in the south. Hegartys Bay Camp is over halfway and is the quietest campsite in the park (alternative camp at Saltwater creek). The walk explores many of the scenic and historic highlights of Ben Boyd National Park. It is worth taking the time to enjoy the many bays and vantage points along the way.
Let us make this track for one day only, so we do not carry camping gears.
Please contact bushwalking on 0402 817 164 or msn petercai08@hotmail.com if you are fit and like such rare opportunity.

It was so luck to walk at Coastal Paradise, Ben Boyd National Park, Eden for Easter Friday and Saturday (April 2-3).
It is time to think of activities for ANZAC long weekend in April. Walking at Interstate such as VIC, QLD, TAS may be one option.
In May, Hiking at the paradies in China, Sichuan, will have different experience.
