If you arrive on a permanent resident visa, your overseas licences will not be accepted after three months. Otherwise, you could drive carrying a translated Chinese driver licence ( this policy applied three years ago before we become permanent resident, you may wish to confirm with RTA and see what is the current policy. I reckon same policy stays.) The notarized copy from China is not accepted.
