I am renting an small unit at Lalor, just next to Epping. Not many Chinese around, most are immigrants from Italy, Greece and Macedonia and 9 out 10 of them are friendly and nice. Epping, like other northern suburbs are dominated by working families so called blue collars, so you can't expect it has top colleges and schools. Apart from it, it's allright in terms of public transport and house affordability. 我原来住Lalor的时候,觉得那里中国的东西很多,一般不必要去Preston. Lalor的图书馆更是我公婆常去的地方,因为那里的中文书比他们当地的图书馆还多.要想知道Epping当前的房价,最好上这个网站看看,我觉得30多万可以买下一般的3房house www.realestate.com.au
