GENERAL OVERVIEW:<br>
The main purpose of Internal Sales Executive - Training position is to promote the technical training services of the VERITAS Education Services (VES) to existing customers and help those customers to identify the most appropriate training, which will enable the users to gain maximum benefit from their VERITAS product. This person will be managed by and report to the Education Manager.<br>

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>
Make outbound calls to raise awareness of the training schedule and training product/special offers.<br>
Process details of those customers wanting to purchase training so the incumbent would need a good awareness of the full range of training offerings in order to be proactive in identifying the right training course for each customer.<br>
Contact new and existing VERITAS customers that have purchased products and solutions with a view to proactively positioning/selling training courses.<br>
Liaise with the Training Coordinator to enrol candidates on the course.<br>
Update & maintain details on database and provide regular lead/closure information to ANZ Education Manager.<br>
Contact previous course delegates to explore additional training opportunities.<br>
Follow any lead passed to the channel or general commercial by telesales.<br>
Follow-up on marketing events to produce leads.<br>
Fully understand the booking and administrative processes in order to assist the training corodinator when and if required.<br>

PERSONAL PROFILE:<br>
This role is suitable for a team player who is self motivated and strives for success. Your determination to provide outstanding customer service and achieve personal and team goals whilst promoting VERITAS and our Training courses, combined with a friendly and relaxed nature will ensure success within Internal Sales.<br>

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:<br>
Fluent written & spoken English, with a good standard of education.<br>
Experience in a sales environment.<br>
Must be PC Literate and have the ability to grasp technical concepts.<br>
Good telephone manner with the ability to influence customers.<br>
<br>
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:<br>
Knowledge of the IT industry.<br>
Previous experience in the training environment would be highly desirable.<br>
<br>
OPPORTUNITIES FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT:<br>
This role will begin as a three month full-time contract, with a view to moving into a full-time permanent position with VERITAS for the right candidate.<br>
