3 - Skills Assessment
 This is a general skills application for applicants with at least a tertiary ICT qualification and at least 2 years Professional ICT experience.
 The assessment result letter will report the applicant’s highest ICT Educational Qualifications and ICT Skilled Employment experience suitability to the nominated occupation ANZSCO code for Points Test and skilled migration purposes.

5 – Combined Skills Assessment / Recognition Letter
 This is a combination of a General Skill Assessment and Recognition Letter.
 2 (two) Result letters for this application type will be issued to applicants.

Compared with reading books, watching TV is more appealing to individuals, as it has vivid pictures as well as nice sound. However, some people believe that reading can greatly promote the development of one’s imagination and language skills while watching TV can do nothing but for entertainment. Personally, I agree their view, but I would qualify it to some extent.

It is evidently reasonable for some to argue that individuals can benefit greatly from books. To start with, reading is a good way to learn languages (这里是否加上of?)both native and foreign ones. This is mainly due to the fact that reading can improve one’s spelling and increase one’s vocabulary, which are essential for language learning. Plenty of evidence has shown that children who read more often can master a language well (是否该成better) and (more) quickly than those (who) do not. An even more significant advantage should be taken into account is that reading can actually help people to (去掉to?) develop their imagination. It is generally known (提调成well accepted?) that each book embody (单复数形式?) writer’s invention and imagination, people who read it may (改成could) be inspired and have (thereby having) creative and imaginative thoughts.

However, it is worth pointing out that there (are) also arguments (which) support the opinion that watching TV can also contribute to one’s development. The main reason is that watching TV is more interesting that (than) reading books. For example, there a large number of educational programs are being on show each day, which have rich contents and various forms (whick开头的句子改成 for rich contents and in various forms). They are more successful in drawing people’s attention than books. Consequently, people can learn a language easily.

To conclude, although watching（去掉watching?) TV provides us an amazing experience, I believe that reading is so far the main way as well as the most efficient way in learning. All in all, it would be sensible to combine them together so that people can benefit more.

7 Some people believe that public health should be improved by increasing the number of sports facilities, while others believe that other measures should be taken to improve public health. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Today, people pay increasing attention to the public health. However, as to how to improve public health, opinions vary from person to person. Some people believe that the best way is to increase investment in sports facilities. While others argue that we should take other measures.

It is understandable that some people think increasing the number of sports facilities can contribute to public health. The main reason for this is that it provides people with good opportunities to play sports. It is generally known that sports serve as an excellent physical exercise. Those who do sports more often have a more healthy body than those who do not. Taking part in team and individual sports game is a great way to get in shape and help prevent serious illness. In addition, sport can increase self-confidence and self-awareness and reduce depression, which also play an important role in individual well-being.

But other people would disagree. It is may be true that public health can be improved by improving sports facilities. However, it seems that there are many other measures that should never be ignored. To begin with, it is very significant to raise citizens’ awareness of public health. Such as the importance of keeping good living habits and doing sports. Besides, apart from sports facilities, government should also throw a large portion of budget on medical facilities. Moreover, a sound medical system is indispensable to improve the level of public health.

From my part, after considering the arguments above, I feel that the improvement of public health is not as simple as just increasing the number of sports facilities. All in all, it would be sensible to suggest that government, society and individual should join up to make effort in public health.
