The Deer Stalker
This loop track of about 15 KM with “easy” grade will take 4-5 hours
The beauty of the forest encouraged park management to make a Forest Park Track in 1886 “to open up the park to the public.” Well done!
The walk explored an area, where deer can be seen. Early settlers, to provide more familiar animals than kangaroos, introduced deer. They are still here in limited numbers. Walkers need to be observant, as deer are shy. They are likely to be seen by the creek before reaching the rock pool or on the forest path after leaving Lady Carrington Track.

for joining bushwalk at Royal National Park today.
16 of us walked 15 KM for near 6 hours including 10 min morning tea and 30 min lunch break and coffee time.Everyone enjoyed very much although we did not see Deers.
