Tweed Heads

If you are a party animal, I suggest to make your permanent home here in Tweed Heads. It's a town sitting in the border between Queensland and New South Wales. Looking at the road sign there, you could say: Yeah, to Queensland, New South Wales is only a signpost away!

But, It's a well-know fact that Queenslanders don't believe daylight saving regime. So, in summer, New South Wales is actually 1 hour ahead of Queensland even they are only a signpost away from each other. Then, a lot of party-goers will celebrate New Year in NSW first, and then move to Queensland side to enjoy the second celebration.

Bravo to that.
I also wonder whose idea that is to call it twin towns. The symbol poles behind me is supported by two legs, one of which stands in NSW, while the other in Queensland.
