房子有两个起居室，想把大的隔成一个卧室，一个小书房， 大概是6 * 3。6，求推荐隔房间师傅。

我特别写email 问过中介是否需要康嫂批，回复是不用的。是不是南澳和其他地方不一样啊。

I want to partition the formal lounge to 2 rooms ( one is Japanese Tatami, the other is study room), do I need to get council approval for this?

No you don't. Only need if affecting external of the house with construction work
