副申怀孕了主申也一定要马上体检吗

刚elodge完副申就怀孕了，最近通知CO后收到回信如下：
"You will still be required to undergo your medicals within the original timeframe provided.
In regards to your pregnant wife, your wife is able to defer undertaking her medicals until after the baby is born. If your wife’s medicals are the only remaining requirement for the visa, then the application will be on hold until after the baby is born so that your wife can undergo the required medical.“

觉得奇怪，我一直理解应该是可以小孩儿出生后双方再去体检，这样短登的时间（从体检算起）比较充裕。如果是我必须马上体检那可能刚拿到签证就必须短登了。
请教大家这种情况怎么办，谢谢！

应该是可以按照你说的俩人都推迟的，既然co现在要求你去做，那你就问问co，我现在做，我老婆可能要等10个月以后，那我的体检到时候还管用么，还有最晚登录时间怎么算。看他怎么说了，最后有可能是按照你你老婆的体检时间给你们一年的时间激活签证的

yes, the new born baby also has to go through the medical test, but very basic, no blood and x rays
