如何启动Camry的定速巡航
我经常要走墨尔本的M1高速进城，很久以前就想试试定速巡航功能，看了手册，知道定速巡航的控制杆，但是发现压了定速巡航的开关之后，仪表盘的定速巡航灯变绿，但是松开油门却无法维持速度。后来又试了几次都没有成功，有点苦恼，差点以为是车子故障，想找4S店去维修，直到有一次一个朋友开我的车，我发现他可以启用我的车子定速巡航的功能，然后我就向他请教如何使用。
其实很简单，原来按一下定速巡航的开关之后，还要将定速巡航的控制杆往下压一下（定速巡航减速方向），才会正式启动定速巡航功能。
(仔细看图可以发现，“-”号旁边还有一个“SET”，就是“设置、启用”的意思，我现在才醒悟过来）
分享一下，希望能给开Camry的同学带来一点有用的信息。
不知道其它车子的定速巡航功能是否以同样方式激活，欢迎大家分享自己车子的定速巡航功能如何启用。

说明书看了好多遍了，根本没提怎么set，就是图片上有set的字样，没说根本没想到，鄙人悟性不够啊。。。 还要求一定的时速才能有效启动，Camry好像是80以上。在有起伏的路面上，个人感觉巡航比较耗油。 摄郎 发表于 15-10-2014 00:25

一般在高速上才启用巡航，低速的路况大多比较复杂，不适宜巡航。
巡航我感觉应该省油啊，电脑自动控制油门，不用频繁踩刹车（不知道电脑是否自动刹车，还是通过减油门来控制速度）。 高速上频繁踩刹车:L 摄郎 发表于 15-10-2014 00:39

看了一下Wikipedia的资料，提到在起伏路面上，巡航确实比有经验的司机控制油门要费油，不过在平路上应该还是比较省油的。

The lack of need to maintain constant pedal pressure, which can help lead to accidents caused by highway hypnosis or incapacitated drivers; future systems may include a dead man's switch to avoid this.

When used during inclement weather or while driving on wet or snow- and/or ice-covered roads, the vehicle could go into a skid (although this may be somewhat mitigated by cars equipped with Electronic Stability Control). Stepping on the brake—such as to disengage the cruise control—could result in the driver losing control of the vehicle.

Driving over "rolling" terrain, with gentle up and down portions, can usually be done more economically (using less fuel) by a skilled driver viewing the approaching terrain, by maintaining a relatively constant throttle position and allowing the vehicle to accelerate on the downgrades and decelerate on upgrades, while reducing power when cresting a rise and adding a bit before an upgrade is reached. Cruise control will tend to overthrottle on the upgrades and retard on the downgrades, wasting the energy storage capabilities available from the inertia of the vehicle. The inefficiencies from cruise control can be even greater relative to skilled driving in hybrid vehicles.

我上下班路上还常用呢 First step you are right.
Second, put the button down(set) as you reach the speed like 100km/h
Push the button up(reset) after you applied the brake or petrol(assuming you finish the second step). The car will automotive be set to 100km/h
Repeat the second step if you want to set to different speed like 80km/h

是的，如果有犯困的感觉要及时关掉巡航，然后开窗、开大声音乐让自己清醒一下，尽快找地方停车休息。

还有曾经在高速爬坡试过，巡航保持速度简直是对发动机的折磨啊，后来在爬坡前都关掉

为什么说高速爬坡保持巡航速度是对发动机折磨？是因为坡度太大，发动机功率不足吗？
我感觉猫本的M1、M3用巡航非常好，基本都是大平路、直路，非高峰事情，车流也不算拥挤。 ubuntuhk 发表于 15-10-2014 17:40

是啊。交给电脑控制的事情不靠谱。
尤其是开high way跟着跟着前面的车速度就不靠谱了，得要换道超车什么的。然后后面有那种超》10km限速等着去赶死的要让，又要回left。就算能跟一段时间，开了巡航没啥事情可干就容易打瞌睡什么的，所以对我来说这玩意简直是鸡肋。

直接点刹车，或者手动挡的脱档放空挡，都会自动取消巡航 camry的定速巡航 似乎只能再d档有效
在d3，d2都没效果
