response.
The Local Clearance Unit (LCU) is currently experiencing an exceptionally
large volume of work, and hence the assessment of medicals is being
delayed.
LCU are currently assessing medicals for Permanent visa applications
received in our office on 14th August 2007.
In order to assist LCU in attempting to locate the medicals in question,
please provide as much of the following information as possible:
1. Name of Applicant
2. Date of Birth
3. Passport number
4. Name of Doctor/Clinic where examinations were completed (if possible)
5. Visa Applied For
6. Date Medicals Dispatched
7. Method of Dispatch (Courier/Standard)
8. Address the package was sent to
9. If sent by Courier, then include:
- courier company name
- tracking number
- receipt date
- name of person who signed for the package on receipt
- NB: if you have not checked with the courier company please do so
before contacting LCU
If assessment of these medicals is urgent, please contact your allocated
Case Officer or relevant Business Section and request they contact LCU
regarding priority assessment of medicals.
