Current assessment turnaround time
As long as your submission is complete and correct:
Non-accredited qualifications – turnaround is currently about 14 weeks from the date of receipt
Accredited Australian and Accord qualifications – up to 3 weeks.
Please do NOT contact Engineers Australia within these timeframes, as it will further delay processing times for all applications.
Note: This advice supersedes that given on pages 7 and 25 of the MSA Booklet for the foreseeable future.

今天得到回音，评估通过了
Dear XXX,
I have completed the assessment and a letter dated 19 October was mailed to your China address indicating recognition as a Professional Engineer (Electronics Engineer, ASCO 2125-13). This is based on the competencies demonstrated, taken in conjunction with the qualification from XXXXXX University awarded in June 2003.
The letter of recognition is a legal document, embossed with the Engineers Australia logo symbol to demonstrate authenticity and to help minimise the possibility of fraud. We do not provide electronic copies of the letter of recognition. We mail the letter by Australia Post (or by courier, where organised by the applicant).
In addition, we now refrain from e-mailing pdf copies of the file copy as we had previously been inundated with DIAC phone enquiries seeking confirmation of authenticity of electronically submitted copies of the file copy letter (instead of the original letter). The DIAC enquiries are decreasing our efficiency and delaying the processing time further. It was never our intent that the electronic file copy would be used for this purpose. Consequently, we have discussed the issue of DIAC acceptance of the yellow file copy of assessment outcome letters extensively with senior DIAC staff, and agreement reached that such file copies would not be accepted in support of migration applications.
